Two for Joy

Just a little magpie piece. I'm kinda getting a bit obsessed by them. I think they may be my favorite bird. They look brilliant and striking and I just love the rhyme :

Craft Fair this weekend!

I'll be at the Borough Arms Hotel, ST5 1HX this Sunday and will be selling greetings cards, handmade notebooks, cushions, prints and allsorts. Come down and have a look if anyone is near this week.I would love to give you a preview of what I'll be selling but it's not finished yet.! Illustration Friday - Suspense

This si my illustrated interpretation of the theme 'suspense' for Illustration Friday. Its a two-tone creation with marker pen. I really enjoyed doing this one because it's just so simple.

Brass is best.

Fish Fight!

Did everyone see Hughs Fish Fight at the start of last year? Well the campaign is still going. Half of all the fish caught in the North Sea are actually thrown back into the water dead because they don't meet EU standards. To me this is just ridiculous. No-one can benefit - join the Fish Fight!

Little Princess

One of my cuter pieces with lots of pink! You can't make a pop-up palace without pink though. Its a rule.
I remember how strong and vivid my imagination was as a child. You could literally be anything and do anything. Somehow it weakens over the years. This is my nod to that lost imagination.

Where have hats gone ...?

There are adverts pretty much everywhere at the moment for Wedding Fairs. The best thing I think about wedding season slowly creeping up is that I'll soon be able to see, outside every venue, a huge flock of men in top hats and tails. Dreamy. Theres  something about a man in a hat that makes me swoon. Slightly pervy I know. Still, I want to see this everyday, not just on special occasions! Lets wear hats!
